Garret's Drone Chronicles

A few years ago, Garret decided to film the Eucharistic Procession in New York City just out of pure passion. Camera in hand, faith in his heart, he captured every sacred moment beautifully.

When the Napa Institute came across his video, they loved it and reached out right away asking to license it. As a thank-you, they surprised him with a brand-new drone. It was perfect timing, since his old one had just crashed in the brutal Houston summer heat.

That new drone went on quite a journey. It captured some incredible scenes in Medjugorje — glowing sunsets, peaceful hills, pilgrims deep in prayer. Garret and his drone, like peanut butter and jelly.

One evening, he launched the drone from his hotel balcony to catch the sunset - orange skies, everything glowing... when suddenly the signal cut out.

That happens sometimes, BUT this time the screen went completely black!

He ran downstairs and into the streets, trying everything to reconnect, but nothing worked.

No signal.
No coordinates.
The drone was gone.

Along with it, all those beautiful shots... gone. Leaving only its wake a massive migraine for poor Garret.

The next morning, while getting ready for the pilgrimage up Apparition Hill, Garret noticed something — the controller had recorded coordinates after all.

He typed them into Google Maps, and it showed a 15 minute hike behind Apparition Hill. a rough, thorny area that’s hard to reach.

After praying at the statue of Our Lady at the top, Garret and Cimela decided to follow the pin on the map — just fifteen minutes higher up the hill.

And what happened next…honestly felt like a miracle.
