With a Greek father and a Mexican mother, Cimela began documenting her family’s travels at a young age, especially to her father’s homeland, the island of Crete. In 2009, she began capturing stories for Rice University, Exxonmobile, University of St. Thomas, and The Center for Houston’s Future. She is a co-founder of the company Stella Mar Films and produced documentaries Apparition Hill and Where There is Darkness among others. She is the founder of Palomita Films and Paloma Pilgrimages.

From a small town in Michigan, Jessi traveled across the world to Medjugorje to begin documenting the holy site in 2015. She wanted to be a pirate when she was little then she discovered the real buried treasure was searching for stories. She graduated from Loyola University in Chicago then began making documentaries with Stella Mar Films and continues capturing stories through Palomita Films and leading pilgrims through Paloma Pilgrimages.

As an artist studying in an elite school in Pennsylvania, Garret lends his artistic eye and talents to the team. He first journeyed to Medjugorje in May 2021 and blew everyone away with his butter sculptures and life-like drawings. He began producing inspiring short films with us and mastered the art of filming with a drone. He is passionate about Medjugorje, the Blessed Mother, and Eucharistic miracles and uses his art to encourage people in their faith. Prints of his original artwork are available in our store.

A legend in her field. With her great devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and her proficiency with numbers, she makes the best business leader of this company. Melissa is a graduate of Rice University with a Masters from the University of St. Thomas and a CPA. Since childhood, she has gone on pilgrimages around the world, and, in fact, makes a point to always visit churches and sacred sites wherever she goes.
